A Study of Comparing Performance Before and After Vocational Rehabilitation Facilities Type Conversion Utilizing the Cost-Benefit Analysis - focused on the B regional sheltered workshops -

Abstract
This study using B community vocational rehabilitation facilities 2008 and 2013 fiscal data investigated the impact of sheltered employment has on this community. The analysis methodology of this study was cost-benefit analysis.
Net present value of the sheltered employment program was -704,735,000 won and cost-benefit ratio was 0.65 in 2008. But in the case of 2013, sheltered employment program net present value was 90,799,000 won and cost-benefit ratio was 1.03. Therefore sheltered employment program investment in communities gave a positive impact on society.
Based on the result, future sheltered employment program policy directions are as follows. First, vocational rehabilitation facilities for sheltered employment by expanding investments should increase the benefits of business. Second, vocational rehabilitation facilities of the staff should increase the number of personnel. Third, incubator system is needed for the enhancement of vocational rehabilitation facilities capabilities. Forth, require the development of product item and the selling support.
